117 Wildflower 05/08/2023

Wild Flower was another hilly event! We were there back in 2023 while visiting family. It was my tenth different event starting with a W but I still only have one completed alphabet. There is still no official X event anywhere in the world. I am some would make a huge of money if they could start an X parkrun. I think parkrun headquarters is against it. Maybe I should have a go, buy some cheap land in the middle of Australia, I am sure thousands would come to visit. Anyway, back to Wild Flower parkrun, about 20 kilometres north of Sydney in a fantastic Ku-Ring-gai Chase National park. The park was stablished in 1894, the second national park in Australia. Named after the Indigenous Guringai people. The parkrun has only been going since 2018. It is a scenic course, not too crowded and on tarmac path all the way. Be warned there are no flat sections it is either up or down, and some parts were pretty steep. Pretty much an out and back course with a couple of loops at each end.
