My parkrun run number 474 @ 133rd different locations, had us visiting The Entrance on the New South Wales Central Coast. This special event Christmas day morning was near perfect. My zone 2 running was a little slow but it was so nice here I needed to stop for a few photos along the way too.130 runners and walkers showed up for there 368th event.I started at the back an try not to let my heart rate go over 122 beats per minutes. Which left me near the back for most of the event. Some times I can actually walk faster than this sort of running but they recon it will help build a strong fat burning base. I am hoping to continue this type of training for 6 weeks then add some faster run back in.The parkrun is held on part of the Coast to Lake path. The 2.5 kilometre turn around point at long jetty. We actually ran from the suburb called The Entrance to the next suburb called Long Jetty. The pelican did not looked that impressed with the Black swan drying or showing off.Another parkrun square photo for the collection. It is amazing how many of the locals volunteer even on Christmas morning. The Entrance is named after this small inlet of water to a big network of lakes, all the water views makes for some great photo opportunities. We have visited this place before but it was mid week and did not get to do the parkrun. After the parkrun we had a swim at the Ocean beach surf club.
