Queensland is famous for it’s magnificent beach’s but Brisbane beening build on a river 25km inland and the river water quality not beening the best meant they had to build a beach. I think it was a great use of the old world expo site to redevelope it into a large open parkland area and water park.

I had my fast loud nike shoes on for a run along the flat and wide river side walk way. There is a popular parkrun here every Saturday morning and a cheap $2 underground car park if you have a parkrun barcode and are out by 10am.
