We wanted a swim and a fresh water shower! After all the exercise we had just done at near by at the Sandgate parkrun. It was warm, the sun was out and it was heating up fast, probably helped by the 23.13 minute five kilometres I had just run. The tide was right out at Sandgate beach which is not the best for swimming as it is very shallow and you need to walk a long way out just get wet. So we had a quick google and headed to Margaret near by. Somewhere either of us had ever visited before. We had driven through it a number of times but never stopped and had a look around.

I was not expecting too much as I have not heard much about the place but was pleasantly surprised.

So after a quick swim and shower we took in the beach vibe for a bit then went looking for some coffee and breakfast.
