The last part of our South East Asia Loop holiday back in 2023 was Bali. We had already visited Singapore, Changi Mai in the north of Thailand and Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia picking up two international parkruns for our stat collection and visited some family. Bali was really just the cheapest way back home to Australia. But who would not like a couple of days stay over on a Bali Beach as any part of a trip. This Rama Residence Pada accommodation was good value for money, definitely not the cheapest but we wanted something nice as it was the middle of the Balinese wet season. Hot, humid and tropical heavy rain. On previous trips we had stayed up in Ubud which as a much different feel and vibe to the popular coastal Kuda Beach but we wanted to be closer to the airport this time.

It was a busy little place with lots of shops next door but quiet inside the hotel. 38 rooms over 3 levels and a pool on top. The beach was only about 400m away.

Inside had a very traditional Bali look and staff were friendly and happy to be there,.

Our room was small but did the job we were on the level under neath the pool and could occasionally hear people jumping in. No voices but an echoing under water movement sound.
