Situated in the Redland City Council area about 30 kilometres East of Brisbane is the very nice Raby Bay Harbour Park.Cleveland Centre Business District was just across the road.I have swum a couple of times in the harbour and up the Columbus Canal. Twice a year they hold a sprint distant triathlon here. It's not my favorite swim leg location as you can taste and smell the diesel fuel in the water and it is pretty murky but it handy as it's close to home. Some people will just park any where lol.The dinning and restaurant area can get quite busy in popular times. The central meeting point, I had to settle for a photo of the back of the sculpture as there were some young children climbing all over the front of it. The Stainless steel sail and mast was cleverly done with the sand stone. The park itself is only very small but very pleasant and well situated next to Cleveland's CBD and the train station. We made it into a 4km walk by parking on the Raby Bay Fore shore roughly 2 kilometres away.It was nice to see some nature in this very developed area.Just next to the park on the other side of shore street. An interesting little water fall. The area is home to some pretty high end houses, apartments and pleasure craft.Walking back to the car along the Oxley canal the clouds and weather was starting to close it which makes a dramatic closing photo.
