We have done lots of parkruns in our home Country of Australia but we were pretty excited to be able to visit some other parkruns in different countries. We were on an Asian loop holiday back in November 2023. Sort of playing catch up after missing a lot of travel during covid, visiting some family and trying to pick up some international parkruns in South East Asia. We started by getting the cheapest flight we could out of Brisbane in Australia to Singapore for a long weekend and a parkrun then it was a low cost budget airline called scoot direct to Chang Mia Thailand, mid week then another cheap flight to the Malyaia’s Capital city Kuala Lumpur for another parkrun and some site seeing. K.L only has one parkrun but its a good one.

The parkrun is located in Putrajaya which is sort of like Canberra in Australia. A purpose build area mainly for government buildings.

After a great parkrun the locals gave us a lift to there local café for some breakfast. Definitely one of the most welcoming and friendly parkrun I have ever been too.
