A must do when visiting Toowoomba is the Picnic Point parklands. It has great short and longer walk options. An easy 1.5 hour drive from Brisbane about 130km makes a great day trip.

The views from the top of the Great Dividing Range are just fantastic. 700m above sea level looking back towards Brisbane.

They had this pretty descend water fall but I am pretty sure it is all man made there were lots of hidden pipes and shallow stagging pools.

We had already done a decent amount of exercise early that morning so we just chose part of the Pardalote walk to Tobruk lookout.

You can actually pick up the best view with only a short walk from your car but we are eyeing off all those other white dotted lines on the strava map for future hikes.
