This was our last stop on our short South East Asian Loop holiday last year, We had been travelling and moving around a lot with our carry on luggage and using cheap flights to visit multiple location we were looking forward to a a of a rest. Pantai Legian comes from the word legi which means sweet, pantai means beach. It used to be a tradition fishing village but is now a full on tourist destination..Early morning beach breakLots of sand and people out exercising early too.I ran all the way down to Kuta beach each morning.Some personal development group workout.Now that is some cool Gecko art.Many of the private house in this area are magnificent. The details in all the brick, block walls and doors. There were lots of temples around too.There wiring system looks complicated.But the squirrels seem to have it worked outEspecially if there is a free feed on offer.Balinese shadow puppet street art.A petrol station.There is lots of shopping in Legian, everything you could imagine. It is great to have a look around but I get board of haggling and getting ask do you want to buy Mr?The beach is the place to be at sunset.You can rent a table and chair.Definitely the best time of day as the sun starts to go down and the heat and humidity eases off.The perfect spot for a beer or cocktail.and a great way to end a great break in Bali with dinner at a beach side restaurant.
