I had all most forgotten about Greenbank, it is fun to review some of these old events and places we visited, this was my 31st different location. Caroline offered to help a friend by pushing their pram so her friend could have an easier run. It was cold in the middle of winter. Cold in this part of Australia is like under 10 degree Celsius, it rarely gets below zero. Greenbank is about fifty kilometres south of Brisbane Central business district. It is still a bit rural but is getting more built out. There was 91 runners and walkers the day we were there, which is a good number for the narrowish path. Make sure you get up the front if you want to run fast.Penny was celebrating her junior 10th run.The first timer and run briefing. The time keeper was sporting his kilt. The course was two laps on a flat, paved course round the perimeter of the Spring Mountain Reserve, following the lagoon, the tree line and Oxley creek. It looks like there all looking at me but there was something happening further back, I think we were waiting for the run director to give the go ahead to the time keeper. I was just posing for the parkrun volunteer photographer. The start and finish is close to the main car park and facilities.I would mind having another visit to Greenbank but I do not think I could go under 22 minutes at the moment like I did back then.
