This parkrun was still pretty new and has been on our list since it first started. Any coastal path courses are a real treat with the cool breezes and water views. The course was concrete path all the way out to the 2.5 kilometer turn around other than a little bit of grass at the start and finish line. Very fast overall but the was a couple of gradual head land to add some elevation and keep you working hard. Some of the local Kangaroos can to watch. The cabins and camping at the coastal caravan park looked very handy especially if your visiting for parkrun but there is a 2 night minimum stay, we got a better deal for us staying in the middle of Bundaberg town about 20 minutes away.If you want some extra miles there is a nice run along the beach as well. The run brief. It was plenty warm enough for a swim afterwards. There is generally not a lot of surf here as there is a massive sand island off shore call Frazer or K'gariMore stats for the collection! It is getting harder and harder for us to get to new parkrun locations his one was a four hour drive each way.Photo credit to parkrun volunteer photographer. I was two minutes faster than last week on a similar course which is good but I can not believe how long it is taking me to get back to 25 minutes. I suppose I will just have to get used to this getting older thing and an aging body.My strava map and time splits.
