I really enjoy reading these tourist information boards and getting some under standing of who and why areas are named. Even better nowadays is that they now give out all the traditional owners information and stories as well.We had stopped overnight here on our way down to the snow. I had forgotten how nice the place is. So nice we decided so stop over again on the way home and for a few extra days. It was so good checking out the township again, I have stayed here before a long time ago as child on a family holiday and from I can remember of it, it has it changed a lot.Muttonbird Island we had an infesting and enjoyable walk out there but I will save that for another post. Coffs Harbour Jetty Latitude 30 Looks like there were some decent mountain and hikes to be had near by but that would have to be another trip,This overhead view of the area was another great sign board, We did the local parkrun which ran around the dog beach, then all the way out the break wall to Muttonbird island before turning around on the smaller marina break wall before heading back the same way.Sun rise at Coffs CreekAnother nice sun rise on an early morning tun for me, away a great way to start the day.Little Muttonbird Island we walked out to it at low tide. It felt magical seeing it surrounded by water a few times as we walked past. Then early on one morning it was like the seas parted and you could stroll out.Park BeachThe river had left some interesting patterned tide marks in the sand. Thanks for reading, See you next time.
