We like to get out and about as much as possible. Being avid parkrun tourist often takes us to many different places we would other wise general not visited. On this day we were up early and had driven an hour south west of Brisbane our home town to collect a new parkrun stat, get some exercise, do a bit of exploring and meet up with some friends. Being the first Saturday of the month meant it was also market day. The Market was held near the centre of town right next to the tourist information centre in Westermann Park. There was lots of stalls selling all kinds of food, plants, cloths, crafts and bric-a brac both new and used. There was even some live music. It was open from 7am until noon.A bit of local art definitely helps brighten up small country towns. We did not but anything at the local markets so next we were checking a local church run second hand op shop to see if there was any bargains. It was inside the Anglican Church.I ended up picking up a couple of items from the op shop. A small bag of Lego like farm bricks, a box of wooden block and an autobiography of a famous Australian Rules Football player. I always find it interesting to read behind the scenes about things I used to watch on tv while growing up.Food for today was Eggs Benedict at café 63 at the Beaudesert Fair Shopping centre, I had already eaten half before I remembered to get a photo. There's lots to do and see in the scenic rim council area too. I need to clean the car windows. We took a bit of a short cut on the way home. Always good to mix things up from the usual highway driving.
