It was so exciting to visit New Zealand’s biggest city for the first time. We where only there for a few days but hopefully that would be enough time to check some of the major attractions out.

Auckland domain and winter gardensI had seen @run.vince.run strava run maps on his Strava2hive posts many times and decided if it’s good enough for the local to run there maybe @consciouscat and I should do our weekly long run there and check it out.It was only a couple of kilometres from our accommodation so that and a few lap of the domain should work well.The plan was solid but this Sunday morning was busy some major event settling up blocked roadways and paths. There was also cricket matches and Frisbee tournaments, it was all happening.The run was pleasant enough but as soon as l had clocked enough kilometres, it was even better to just walk around and get a few photos.The winter gardens.

Auckland has double decker buses I have not been on one for years. We caught on the way back to the airport on the way for our next adventure.
