National Maritime Museum (NMM) is a part of Royal Museums Greenwich which is established 83 years ago on 1937 at Greenwich, London in the United Kingdom. It is huge place and approximately 200 acres which was opened by King George VI in 1937.
On a beautiful morning I had no class and no work so thought to visit the National Maritime area so got there to watch the history.
The huge entrance of the Museum building makes me feel like I am entering in a palace, there is two anchor on the both side of the main gate.
After entering in the Museum I was feeling like I am watching all the history here! Architectural Models like Shutter Telegraph System, Astronomical and Navigational Instruments like Celestial Globe, archive catalog, charts and maps, coins, medals, decorative and fine art, oceanography, ship models and many more things I could not able count on my list is available there.
If you have time, take your time to watch things. It would be life time memory if you able to spend your time at Greenwich.
It is really cool to watch so many things people used in the past. It is like to be in past for a while.
Sword, coins known and unknown thousands of different objects amazed me and made my day during my visit. I wish I could able to stay longer but I had to find more places at the Maritime area.
If you just like to visit the museum it is free to entry and open from 10am to 5pm including Bank Holidays as per the following website https://www.rmg.co.uk/national-maritime-museum but, currently closed due to COVID-19.
Thanks for walking with me! Take Care!
