Let me ask an apology first because most of my post in travel feed will be market. As you know we are also in lock down. We're not allowed to go in random places or tourist spots. Just bear with me because it will help you as well knowing the few markets located in Cebu City.
Just a little bit of your information by the way. Last time I posted about the pazel market where that market's trademark was fish. They are also markets but they're popular with an specific goods. I'm sure this will be helpful to you when you'll stay or visit Cebu City in Philippines.
You can also find meat and fish products here. Unlike in Pazel that it's focus on fishes. If you'll find fishes here, expect it that the price will be higher. It's higher from the Pazel fish market since what they're selling here in "taboan" were bought in Pazel fish market as well.
Well, of course this is a market as well. You can find vegetables, spices or fruits. You know this is a market as well. If a market won't have that kind of goods will be not encourage people to come here. But the the prices of it because these are not their main products will be higher.
This market by the way was just small. Unlike other msrket thst the whole area will be considered as market. In taboan it's different, I'm not sure but in this market you can see security guards inside and in the entrance. This serves as the watchers of this establishment.
Maybe the approximate area of the establishment is just 200 square metres. It was surrounded with stores but you must visit or go inside where the cheaper prices can be found. Also, what you need to buy are inside. Unlike other markets, this market sells different goods. They also sells dress and many more. Summary, this market is not just focus on vegetables, food, meat, fish and many more.
Just showing you the fishes here but for sure this was bought in Pazel market.
Okay, I warned you already. The prices here are expensive compared to Pazel market.
Did I said earlier that every market has it's own specialties? Yeah, because this market is popular from dried fish. You can find of course dried fish in different markets but like in Pazel market. Taboan or market were their source. If you want to buy dried fish because you know we sre in locked down. No work, so it means no money. We need to save money.
Dried fish is like a local viand food. This is easy to cook and affordable. But sometimes because we are in the city and have no idea the perfect place where to buy cheap price it became expensive. That's why I'm telling you where to buy dried fish in Cebu city. Even in the province of Cebu knew this is the perfect place to buy dried fish.
By the way are you wondering why I'm just saying the work market? Well because the name of it's place was named from the bisayan word "taboan." Taboan in english or translate in english is market.
You have now idea where to go if you want to buy dried fish? Don't worry because they also sell here different types of goods. Although limited and more expensive. The dried fish is the only product is cheap here. If you'll notice it's name as well it's very obvious why it's cheaper here.
