Pura Ulun Danu Bratan, Bali's Lake Temple is situated close to the Bedugul mountains on the shores of Lake Batur. Bali is a small gem in the indonesian archipelago, the most touristic of the islands. I was skeptical at first and Kuta didn't make much of an impression on me with his busy 5 star hotels and all his concrete. But when we took the roads on the saddle of a 50cc motorbike I had to rethink about it. The places sourroundings the capital are magical, holy and spiritual, I feel something about sharing them but the beauty of tell me to do so. Let the journey toward the mountains begin!
The Hindu temple devoted to Shiva. There was such a breathing spirit top this place and even the architectural placement and manifacture, with it's rooftops looking like sleeping emus(maybe that's just me ahah). I asked a little about Hindu culture but didn't get to understand that much and went on thinking that maybe that's the whole point, live, now as best as you can and ravel throught the beauty of life breathing deep and respecting your sourroundings.
It was a beautiful day even with the weather not too favourable, if you happen to be in Bali give your days at the seaside a little rest and go breathe in the mountains! :D
