In September, the temperature drops to 10C in Stockholm. It seems that autumn is just around the corner or maybe it has already come here. 🍁🍂

One of my friends who is a big fan of the Viking Era asked me to go to "Vikingatida höstmarknad 2021" which is an Autumn Viking Market in Stokcholm. They say that the groups of Viking era fans gather once in a while to sell their products which are related to the Viking era. It has become such a nice experience to see these cool people who dress like real Vikings.

We found this honey shop which was selling many different kinds of money. It was so tasty! We purchased a bucket of honey to make some mead, the honey liquor which the Vikings drunk in the Viking era. Making mead out of the honey which we bought from the Viking woman sounds pretty cool, isn´t it? 😉

It seems that it is a very popular event they gather during this time in September. It was the second day of the event, but it seemed that they had many kinds of programs such as playing traditional Viking musical instruments, sing songs, fighting events, shooting arrows, etc. There were many children and parents who came to this even to enjoy and learn Viking history. Some of them dressed like Vikings! Pretty cool! 😃👍

There were many shops which were selling many different kinds of things like honey, drinks, clothes, rings, bracelets, toys, cups, etc. When I was walking around the market, it reminded me of Birka where is Viking ruins I visited this summer.

This shop sells organic skin and hair oil, and we bought some of their products. They look pretty good! 😄👍

In this garden, there are many things such as a vegetable garden, a yard to raise cows and pigs, traditional Viking buildings. They made this garden as a place where people can learn about Vikings!

I was surprised in a good way how much they put their efforts to create this village for people to learn Viking history and tradition. It is a nice place to visit if you like history and Viking tradition and culture. 

It was nice to visit there before it gets pretty cold in Stockholm. The temperature becomes pretty cold soon, I feel. And, it was a nice walk outside of Stockholm central.
