I visited Solliden residence, the mansion where the Swedish Royal family stays during summer. It's in the northern part of Öland island.



The garden is so well taken care of!

The flower banks are so beautiful.


I was surprised how close we can get to see the residence although king Gustaf and Silvia are inside the mansion.

Well, we were allowed to see the mansion pretty close 😲

In Japan, people are not allowed to the residence of the Japanese Royal family...we could enter a part of the Palace, that's all. I somehow feel close to the Swedish Royal family.

They have become a symbol of Sweden, and I believe that they are doing pretty well in term of tourism, gender equality, foreign affairs, etc. 😄👏👏




I wondered what the boy was doing. Checking on his foot for what? Trying to take a thorn out of his foot, or something?? 🤔
