Let´s go to the Dead Sea!
What do you imagine when you hear the word, "Sightseeing in Israel"? Yes, the Dead Sea! So, to become typical tourists, we have decided to visit the Dead Sea 😄
To tell the truth, I thought it was dangerous to travel to Israel in 2015 because all I heard from Israel and Palestine were almost all related to sad news. Well, I do not want to talk too much about politics in my travel blog, but when I saw the wall which devices Israel and Palestine, I felt sad and hoped that they will solve the problems they have between these two counties. 🕊🕊🕊 #LUV And, I hope that it will have some positive image of Israel and Palestine in the future. Israel and Palestine, both are very beautiful countries! 😀
My friends rented a van and a guide for us to visit the Dead Sea and when the guide explained that the Japanese government helped build this highway. Well, I am glad to hear that the Japanese government is using our taxes for good deeds. 😀
When we arrived at the Dead Sea, the guide gently explained how to go into the Dead Sea. I thought it was a bit funny how come he had to explain how to go into the Sea. Well, he was right! I mean the Dead Sea is not a regular sea! As you may know already, the level of salt concentration is very high in the Dead Sea, so you feel some pain if you have any scratches on your body. I had some insects bites when I got into the Dead Sea, so I remember that it was very painful! Also, the taste of water is like "poison"! I mean it was extremely salty, and I tasted it was even bitter, but not salty anymore. 😄 Well, of course, do not splash the water to others! If you get the water in your eyes, then you immediately go out of the water, and clean with fresh water!!
What an amazing experience we had at the Dead Sea! I do appreciate my friends who helped us take it here! Awesome experience!
After we got out of the Dead Sea, we took a shower and went to a shop which sells some souvenirs. 😉
On our way back to Tel Aviv
Time to eat some Israeli food!
We stopped by this market right outside of the restaurant. I had no clue what were those, but they all looked colorful. I guess they are spices they use to cook the delicious food we just ate in the restaurant! 😀
After I got back to Tel Aviv, well, I had a bit of sunstroke.....but, I felt fine the next day. Please take lots of lots of lots of water when you visit the Dead Sea! Plus, I would recommend wearing long sleeves instead of short sleeves like I was wearing. I was stupid enough that I had to protect my skin from the sun!! LOL! Well, anyway, I had a very memorable and unforgettable time! I hope that I can go back there someday! I definitely want to go back there again!!
