Beishan Ancient Temple - 北山古寺
On the way back to Qingyuan, we stopped by Beishan Ancient Temple after you visited the Yao museum. I thought that all religions were banned in China, so it was surprising to learn that some religions were allowed to believe.
For me, Guan Yu is a warrior in ancient China, and they told that Guan Yu has become a deity to be worshiped. 😮 When I was a child, I played a role-playing game and Guan Yu was in the game. And, it was cool to know that he is diety in China. Wow! Guan Yu is my favorite character in the game! It was good to see you, Mr. Yu! Haha!

Hiking behind the Temple 🚶♂️🚶♀️
We went to behind the temple for hiking. There was a tracking trail behind the temple, and we decided to go hiking.
My friend explained that some people still used woods for their daily lives for cooking around this area.
It was nice to see how people live around the temple. We met many people in the temple and some of them seemed to live in the temple. I did not take many pictures in the temple since it looked pretty religious. Well, I mean that I wanted to show my respect to them as a visitor. At the temple, we found dinner and ate some lunch with nans. We donated some money for the food. The food was very simple but it was delicious. Somehow I thought that all the religions in China were banned, but it seems that I was wrong. Well, please let me know if you know well how religions work in China. 🙂 Well, Guan Yu is god in China 😄
