Today is 1. May, International Workers' Day or also known as Labour day so my friends and i took a little trip with "old wolf" Stojadin (Or Zastava 101) car that was manufactured in old Yugoslavia. We went to see Avala tower and Kalemegdan fortress in Belgrade.
Little history about Avala tower. Avala tower is tall telecommunication that is located on mountain Avala in Belgrade. Tower was built back in 1965. but it was destroyed back in 1999. on 23. april, by NATO. Reconstruction was started in 2006. and it was officially opened on 21. april 2010. It's tallest tower in Balkans (204m tall).
Kalemegdan fortress oversees the confluence of the two rivers (Sava and Danube) that flows through Belgrade. It was built back in 279 BC. There is a lot of historical moments that were here but i will not talk about it, i will leave you a link where you can read all about it here.
Few of these photos were taken when we started going up on mountain to our location, Avala tower. There are a lot of trees that formed tunnel shape when going on road.

At this point, we were sitting on bench near monument and saw those big ants, they were eating little ants. Is this insect cannibalism? :D
