La Venezuela de antier is the only theme park dedicated to remembering Venezuela, its idiosyncrasy, its history, its architecture and its gastronomy. It was inaugurated and opened its doors to the public on July 31, 1991, after 3 years of construction. It is located on the road to Jají very close to the City of Mérida, Venezuela

This wonderful and beautiful theme park reminds us and shows what Venezuela was like in the 20s and it is the creation of a Merideño named Alexis Montilla, who in this work wanted to revive several states of the country in a synthesis, highlighting its architecture, folklore, gastronomy, music , customs and history. The visitor can travel to the past and tour some of the regions of Venezuela for the time: such as the Llanos, Falcón, Amazonas, Miranda, Aragua, Trujillo, Lara, Amazonas, Táchira, Mérida, Carabobo.

Making the visitor know and live, through plays, characters, history and Venezuelan geography. I also know You can enjoy a wide variety of vehicles and old means of transport, objects, portraits, documents, newspapers, costumes, characters and situations that only those experiences I thought existed in books.

In this beautiful and long walk it is advisable to go shoes and sportswear. There is a transit to mobilize visitors inside the park to the different stations or states or if you want you can walk, in some there are steep and rocky terrain. As for gastronomy in each of the states represented, you will get food, snacks and snacks.
