A little over two hours by car from Paris, after visiting the emblematic fishing village of Honfleur, we headed to visit another place on the Normadian coast, to appreciate and enjoy a spectacular natural beauty, a unique landscape in the world, a place, magical as they are: The cliffs of Étretat. It is a small town surrounded by vertiginous cliffs sculpted by the sea and the wind, a succession of arches suspended over the water that form one of the most impressive landscapes in France and that are located in the town of the same name, in Alta Normandy of France, and from them you can see the English Channel. They are well known for their natural bow known as a needle eye. Nearby is also the Normandy Bridge, well known for these regions at the mouth of the River Seine. In this beautiful place one is delighted with the different activities it offers such as: walking along its beaches, swimming in the sea, renting a canoe and being able to go under its natural arches. This place has become famous because it has been a source of inspiration for many artists such as painters, who have immortalized this beautiful landscape in paintings, books and any number of professional and amateur photographers, who delight in these beautiful figures. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
