Me in the throne, Madam Tussauds Herself and My Wife.
Good day Everybody!
Today is part 3 of my travel photos from Hong Kong! This time will share with you the photos we took when we visited the Madame Tussauds wax museum located in The Peak Tower in Hong Kong. I have never been to a wax museum before so honestly I was not sure of what to expect. Then when we enter the museum, I was blown away of the wax statues on how accurate they are to the real life people or characters they are modeled from.
Madam Tussauds have a rich history which spans for over 200 years. It reached Hong Kong back in the year 2000 and expanded through other Asian Countries. Hopefully they will open a museum in the #Philippines.
I enjoyed these #wax #sculptures, there were life like wax sculptures ranging from Hollywood personalities, Science and literature icons, Anime, Music, sports, and famous world leaders. The best thing about the place is that they were not strict about taking pictures with these wax sculptures, you can stand close to it and even touch it!
With so many wax sculptures that were there. and almost a hundred of photos we took, I cut it down to 24 photos that I think gives the category of Anime, Hollywood, World leaders/Thought leaders and sports personalities. Really hard to choose but I cannot put a hundred photos in one blog!
Starting it off with these World leaders, Thought leaders, and Really smart people!
My Wife, The Throne, and the Queen!
Albert Einstein and Me. E=mc^2. Everyone knows him.
Mahatma Gandhi, enough said.
Regarded as the greatest writer in the English language, William Shakespeare.
Now it's time for some music Icons!
The King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley!
The King of POP. Michael Jackson!
The Fab Four of Britain and one of my favorite Rock Groups, the Beatles!
Another Queen from Britain, this time Freddie Mercury.
Madonna.
Lady Gaga and My wife. cool hair color!
The next is a little bit of Hollywood!
Me and Bruce Lee.
Jackie Chan! Rush Hour 1, 2 and 3, watched that! Rush hour 4 Please!!
IP Man! A great movie also. loved the table fights!
And of Course, the Hottest in Hollywood right now, the marvel universe.
I still wish this guy was part of the MCU though.
Now for the Sports Icons!
Taller and skilled than any other Asian basketball player in his time, Yao Ming. I remember those year 2000's match up of our Philippine team in FIBA Asia against this guy. It was painful to watch. RESPECTO!
Muhammad Ali! the Greatest in the World!
David Beckham.
Tiger Woods.
And finally, the last batch, Anime!
Doraemon from my childhood. This was one of the most funniest and relatable anime I watched. Growing up, friends, bullies, and puppy love, all nostalgia.
Astro Boy!
The famous Japanese cat, Hello Kitty.
And that was part three of our trip! Over a hundred photos and cut to 24 numbers for this blog. I hope you guys enjoyed reading and viewing our trip at Madame Tussauds wax museum. All in all a great day and a nice first time experience! You can view part one and two on below links:
