Hello friends. We woke up to rain the next day. We rushed to breakfast. Our Italian breakfast included eggs, cheese, melon, yogurt, coffee and some prosciutto... The atmosphere was really nice.

After breakfast, we went to our room and packed our things. Then we rushed to the car. My husband got completely soaked while trying to avoid the rain, both while carrying the luggage and bringing the car to the entrance. My daughters however, were wet but seemed oblivious to it. I was also a little wet and now we were heading to a new hotel. This hotel is closer to the sea.

The place we were going to was called Pescara. It was initially said to take four hours. But due to the rain, the navigation showed five hours. We stayed there for four days. We don’t really stay in one place for long. Actually the rain was an advantage for me because we didn’t have to go outside in the evenings and I could sleep. But this weather was tough for traveling by air, as the rain was very heavy.

The previous hotel we stayed at was a very nice place. The locals have these family-run businesses: mom, dad, kids, even the grandparents work there. It was a very friendly place. The people coming for dinner were dressed very stylishly. It felt like everyone knew each other and the atmosphere was wonderful. The food was also very delicious. We paid a total of 61 euros, including 6 euros for the tip. The food was really great. We drank Prosecco, but it didn’t give us a headache.

There was heavy traffic on the way. We had only gone 70 km, but there was incredible congestion. In fact, a huge tree had fallen across the road. This happened because of the storm the previous day. We saw the police and they had closed the road, so we had to go around it.

Before we moved into the apartments, we were supposed to call and inform them, but we realized this only when we arrived. The landlord said they would arrive in 20 minutes, so we went for a walk toward the sea. The sea was 600 meters away from where we were staying. Pescara feels like a resort town. The weather was cloudy but warm. It’s a beautiful place.

We walked toward the sea. It took about 5-7 minutes. Our little girl was a bit grumpy, but eventually, we reached the beach and the sun came out. I had forgotten my sunglasses, but the view was amazing. In the evenings, there is a beach path where you can take walks. The sea water was incredibly warm, almost like milk. As soon as my daughter saw it, she shouted, I want to swim.

At that moment, the apartment manager called us and said the keys were ready. After we settled in, we went back to swim. The sea water was really beautiful.

We rented a four-room apartment. We could have chosen a smaller place. But since we thought our friend would come with us, we picked a larger one. We paid about 470 euros for four nights. The apartment was really spacious, with incredibly high ceilings.

The entrance hall was quite large. The living room had a TV, a dining table and a seating area. There was also a dining table in the kitchen. It had a balcony where we could hang laundry. The kitchen was very large and the cabinets were very high. The high cabinets were really useful. There were two bathrooms: one with a shower cabin and the other with a bathtub. There was also a storage room with an iron and other household items.

The kids room was very cute. My daughters stayed here. It had two beds, toys and board games. The wardrobes were huge. There was also another bedroom, but we didn’t need to use it. The master bedroom was also quite large and again, there was a huge wardrobe. This apartment had been someone’s home before, but now they rent it out.

We rested a bit and then went to the sea. The sun came out and the weather was beautiful, but there were big waves. In the evenings, the waves get very large. But it was still fun. We were at the free beach because renting an umbrella at the paid beach costs 75 euros. We stayed at the free beach, but actually, we didn’t need a sunbed because it’s difficult to lie down with two kids.

Then we went to the store and did some shopping. The store was 50 meters away from our house. Watermelon was 69 cents, avocado 1.50 euros, tomatoes 1.60 euros, arugula 1.60 euros. The prices were similar to other countries, but the products looked a bit different. We finished shopping and spent 53 euros. The watermelon was very delicious, my daughter loves watermelon. I also bought milk, bananas, avocado, shrimp, yogurt, cheese and ice cream. I also got ingredients for pasta.

I made seafood pasta. I sautéed garlic and added cherry tomatoes, which were already in a sauce. My salad had arugula, avocado and cucumber, with olive oil on top, a very nice taste.

There was a storm at night and the next day there was a big cloud. We saw a cute guest on our balcony. The kids were so happy.

We went for a walk early in the morning, the weather was cool. We decided to go to the city. There were strange clouds, but no rain was expected. The city had many places to see, shopping stores, churches, brands and restaurants. The cool sea breeze was blowing. We got ice cream. Then we walked to the beach and reached the bridge. The view was beautiful, with small boats.

The beach was very close to our house. My husband went to get the swimsuits, towels and the tent, while we started swimming. The girls were tired, so I sat them under a palm tree and they rested there for a bit. There was a very beautiful fountain here. Almost everywhere has these lovely walking paths and beaches like this are really nice on vacation.

We spent about one and a half to two hours at the beach. I sat at a café and had some coffee. When we got home, I had sunbathed a lot that day. I walked around in a dress in the morning and my back got sunburned. After the sea, I felt better, but I still felt like I was cold. We went to the store and I spent 30 euros. I bought milk, bread, chocolate milk, nuts and protein biscuits for the next morning. I also got eggs, tomatoes, olive oil and ricotta cheese. For dinner, I had the pasta and salad I made the other day, but this time I added tomatoes instead of cucumber to the salad. My husband and daughter went to get pizza. They bought two pizzas, one Margarita and they didn’t know what the other one was. I think they looked good. Then we rested a bit.
