When I come to Moscow, I definitely find time to walk around the magnificent parks of the capital.
This time I visited Tsaritsinsky Park.
Of course, his appearance changed greatly after a long restoration.
Walking here, a real pleasure.
Once this territory was the country residence of Ekaterina II.
The complex was built on the territory of the village ... Black mud and nearby villages.
The village, of course, was renamed in May 1775 in Tsaritsino.
I could not look at the fountains.
About the museum-reserve, I'll tell you later.
Today, I will tell you a little about the fountain.
Unfortunately, I was there during the day, but if you want to see the true beauty of the fountain, then you better go to the park in the dark.
Because the fountain is not simple, but light-music, or as they are called - a "singing fountain".
This masterpiece of engineering thought is in the center on the island of Podkova in the water area of Tsaritsynsky pond, and its melodies are heard all over the district.
The fountain consists of 12 circles. In 12 circles, jets of different heights beat, the highest-scaled height reaches 30 m. The total number of jets is 915 !!!
To illuminate and play light at night, the fountain ensemble is equipped with lamps in the amount of 4 thousand.
All this splendor is controlled by a computer program that selects the necessary height and illumination so that it harmonizes with the sounding music.
4 musical works are accompanied by beatings of jets.
Two of them were written by P.I. Tchaikovsky, two - Paul Maurois.
