Hi Steemians! Time for another sunset post where I show you some beautiful sunsets from my previous trips in Southeast Asia. I hope to give you some travel inspiration with this. I appreciate your upvotes and if you have a question about a specific place, feel free to write me a comment.
1. Gili Trawangan (Indonesia)
I really enjoyed visiting the Gili Islands again end of 2018. It's been almost 4 years since my last visit and the island has changed a lot. Especially after the devastating earthquakes it was great to see that tourists are slowly coming back to the Gilis. Well, what NEVER changes are the breathtaking views from the sunset bars on Gili Trawangan where you can watch the sun going down behind Gunung Agung volcano on Bali.
2. Apichada Bar, Koh Phangan (Thailand)
Koh Phangan is full of amazing sunset bars and Apichada is one of them. Located in the mountains of Ban Tai, you have a great view of the south coast of Koh Phangan. Including views of Ang Thong National Park on the horizon.
3. Senggigi, Lombok (Indonesia)
Another one from Senggigi. Senggigi Beach is not only one of the main tourist destinations of the Indonesian island Lombok, it has also beautiful sunsets that you can enjoy right from the beach. Even Senggigi Beach is not the most beautiful beach on Lombok, the sunsets are still amazing!
4. Sunset Beach, Koh Lipe (Thailand)
Koh Lipe is probably one of the most beautiful islands of Thailand! I was really impressed by the turquoise waters and the white sand beaches. The Sunset Beach is located in the north of the island and definitely worth a visit - not only for the sunset. But you should make sure to bring some mosquito spray as there are many mosquitoes on the beach that may ruin your sunset.
