Hi Steemians, today I wanna start a new article series about some beautiful sunsets in Southeast Asia. During my travels in the past years, I've captured a whole lot of sunset photos from different places. So let's start with the first 4, I hope you enjoy it!

Baan Manali Resort, Koh Phangan (Thailand)

When I stayed on Koh Phangan for the very first time, I chose Baan Manali at the west coast of the island as my accommodation. It's a nice resort directly at the beach where you can watch these beautiful sunsets every evening.

The 2 islands that you can see are by the way Koh Tae Nai and Koh Tae Nok. From Koh Phangan you can rent a kayak and go to Koh Tae Nai as it's really not far away.

Pink Beach, Lombok (Indonesia)

Pink Beach is definitely a must-see in Lombok! What makes this beach so special is the pink sand that comes from the corals. Also, during sunset time this place is nice to hang out, especially for locals.

You can even climb the rock in the background to have a great view of Pink Beach and the neighboring bay. Don't miss!

Chao Phraya River, Bangkok (Thailand)

To be honest, I don't really remember taking this photo. I just found it in my archives and was surprised, because I really like it but actually never used it. I think it must have been on one of the Express Boats that drive up and down the Chao Phraya River.

On the left side you can see the Lebua at State Tower with the Sirocco Bar on top (the one with the golden dome).

Tanah Lot Temple, Bali (Indonesia)

Well, admittedly this is not the best sunset and I expected something better. Unfortunately, during this time Bali was very rainy and I was even lucky to get a view like this at least.

The view at the famous Tanah Lot water temple is still nice, however, this place might get really crowded. But I still enjoyed it and would visit the temple again next time I'm on Bali (hopefully with less clouds then).
