Hello Wonderful Steem Community,
Welcome back to my travel blog again. Today I'm going to share awesome hike experience with you guys. That was my one of interesting hike adventure because more attractive environment there. One of our friend suggested to go Alugalkanda. But we didn't got enough information there. So our team seek guidance very quickly. Finally we could find best guide nearest village before reach 2 days.
We used to cross the Knuckles Peak for the summit of Mount Alugal. First level of hike very easy to walk like as other hikes. In this area I looked lot of leeches. They were ready to attack us. But all of us used safety tactics. So they couldn't reach to us.
Almost every tree was covered with moss, as the region was less sunny. The tops of the dense forests were soaked that the sun would not shine.
See how that lizard is free. The lizard is a wonderful creature that can change the color of its body according to the color of the environment. It is for their protection and hunting.
The journey was very difficult and the mountain was visible from the distance as the fog had subsided. So the only option we had was to head to the mountain. But my conclusion was that the mountain leopards are here. The skeletal remains of some animals testify to this. So we want be safe more. Our guide confirmed my conclusion.
Woot...fabulous sky view and awesome climate for walking among trees. We went through the jungle and headed towards Mount Alugal, where we were almost exhausted with the difficulty of passing reeds without a road.
And we could see plenty of variety on the journey. Most of the knuckles are native to the forest. All the tops of the Knuckles forest as well as some of Sri Lanka's highest mountain peaks can be seen from a distance.
Knuckles forest is characterized by heavy fog for most of the year, although the journey was easy due to the lack of fog and clear conditions in the reserve.
You can see more fog surrounded by other mountain of Knuckles. Also now you can understand how some hike was difficult to walk without show in front of road.
We took as many photos as we could and headed off to the summit of Mount Alugal, thinking as soon as possible. We were very lucky because there was no fog. Only one time I went Mount Alugal. That was pretty interesting journey for our team. We stayed 1 hour top of mountain and then leaved from there with keep our water bottles and biscuit packets etc... Thanks for visiting.
