Hello everyone, Welcome back to today's my travel blog. These days quarantine season for everyone. Only few peoples travel limited locations where covid-19 less affected. We're staying home and protest our lives. Today I'm going to share very beautiful village where I stayed sometimes ago in Matale area located central province in Sri Lanka. First time I went to Matale 2005 year for my professional purpose. Then after I went over 10 times there. In this blog I want to show you some impressive places.

It's Bowatenna Reservoir located in Matale district. Such a glorious view created from nature where I captured above. The reservoir's water was so silence that moment. The sky clouds created marvelous reflection on the water.

I came to the bridge road for watch reservoir very clearly. I didn't any idea how much longest this bridge road build across the reservoir. Actually it's much stronger and modern technology used for it. If you want to go Bowatenna reservoir, please go to the Matale town first. Then select Matale - Dambulla route and stop Naula town and turn right to Bowatenna access road.

Now you can take clear idea about the bridge. In fact, because of the speed of water flow in reservoirs, bridges must be strong enough to withstand them. Down of the main road, some flowers planting. But I didn't go to captured them.

Now you can see biggest bio diversity forest behind the camera. I thought It's knuckles forest area. But Knuckles very close to Meemure, Rattota and Laggala villages. Bowatenna located some long distance from Knuckles. Sometimes this forest also can be some branch of Knuckles forest ranges. I saw there was low water level with mud color.

As we were coming from Bowathenna to Rattota via Gammaduwa, we saw a strong bridge. It was made of wood. It's a bit long. As the sound of a waterfall flowing from the bridge was heard, it was decided to cross this terrifying bridge. I had some fears about crossing the bridge.

Our terrifying effort wasn't wasted because we were lucky to watch beautiful waterfall in Gammaduwa village. We hadn't met any knowledgeable people about this waterfall for ask about good questions.

That's the road where we go across to the Matale via Rattota. I felt I stayed Udugama main road very close to Kottawa rain forest in my nearest Galle district. Because we had to ride though among forest.

Our vehicle continuously ride on the road to the Matale. Now we could see the road was slippery with little bit rain. We thought few minutes ago, rain was fallen before we arrived this place.

The fog condition surrounded whole are beside road. So our vehicle driver reduced vehicle speed without showing long distance to him. The lights was on that moment. I though we went some journey at night time lol. The cold covered by my whole body.

After goes few distance foggy was less and we had to watch surrounding area since vehicle. Meanwhile our journey to Matale, could see cool spot. My friend suggested to stop vehicle and take short bathe since there. But others neglected his request because so cold situation. So we continue our Matale run from van. So That's enough to share my previous experience where I stayed Bowatenna and Rattota. See you again and Thanks for stopping by.
