Hello Everyone, How are you all? I hope you're being safe with staying home. Our refreshing travel journeys temporary stop via bad pandemic disease. So I went my back up folders on laptop. Today I'm going to sharing with you beautiful visuals of Rakwana mountain range from Suriyakanda main road. Actually I decided to share about Rakwana mountain,these days my favorite TV movie shown on popular TV channel. One of top actress acted since Rakwana mountain. So it's my main reason for selecting Rakwana to this blog.
We went there early morning time from bikes. We all wear jackets for reduce cool climate. You can see how fogs fallen to Rakwana mountain. Exactly our bodies was shivering began. But we were patience.
There was no traffic without vehicles. Both sides had little forest.
I could see highest water fall in Rakwana mountain so far distance like white line. Below of the road has tea estates. Few houses looked from kept some distances.
As the main road was winding, we were safely ride on the bike.One side of the road seemed biggest trees including forest area. It's surrounded by Sinharaja forest. Actually Sinharaja fully covered both Southern & Sabaragamuwa provincial areas.
We temporary stopped for take little rest nearest tea estates who were managed by Suriyakanda plantations (pvt) Ltd. Tea plants spread whole mountain area. The Forest Department has listed this area as part of the Sinharaja Forest.
The clouds was very dark. So whole Suriyakanda area surrounded from dark visual. Exactly I really like to stay and live like below houses. If so, I can climb mountains and walk among forest every free times. Also I love these climate.
We ride our bikes through very cool area. Everywhere greenery with plants and trees. Our body was so cool that moment. Also we take care about our ride because there was biggest hell. If some driver made mistake, our lives wasn't sure.
Now you can clearly see Rakwana mountain range without any doubt. How about your feelings after look this scenery. Also you can see nice visual how mountain range divide from each others. I already posted only one mountain hike in Rakwana previously. I had climbed two Rakwana mountains already.
walked inside of the forest for few minutes and saw some water stream. It mean top of the mountain definitely has waterfall. We went few distances kept bike near the main road.
Yeah...my guess was right. There was little water fall. We washed our faces and drink some of pure water where it came from top of the hill. It's very cool. We didn't go more further. So quick turned back to from this location, Thanks for watching. See you later.
