Hello everyone, Welcome to my travel blog. Today I'm going to share with you my past hike experience where I climbed Brandigala in Sri Lanka. Brandigala hike adventure wasn't difficult one than other hiking. Because walking way easy to find.Climbing and mountaineering are some of the experiences that can be gained in this type of exploration.
You can see Brandigala mountain since our walking way. There had very clear road. Weather was good for climb and walking. But we always be ready for the rain. So we bring every necessary need for the hiking.
Brandigala is very similar to Batalegala. I mentioned about the Batalegala climb about a month ago. We traveled by train from Colombo to Kandy. From there you can see the A-9 road from Alawathugoda towards Matale.
Now we were ready to start our climb. We came to the right track to reach destination. Brandigala surrounded by trees and grasses.
Wow...beautiful landscape created in front of my eyes. I could explore that was not difficult to hike. We didn't walk among big trees or small trees. Only grasses I found there. But nearest the top of hill has big trees.
I'm completely right. There was only bunches of grass and Mana plants. So that wasn't difficult hike. I could discover on the floor for find better photo image.
Finally I could found nice wild flower. I don't know what's a name for it.
Still our climb we could see little falls where water flows came from top of the hill. But there was very slippery. So I could not captured nice view since down of falls. Believe me. The water was very cool.
Brandigala is a unique rock with a height of about 1130 meters. Now you can see the Ethigala mountain bordering the Matale town.
Brandigala is actually a projection of the Attipola mountain range, with a forested area between the two sections and rich in streams. This is a great place to camp in all aspects.
Now we could see around whole area from one angle. Some of tea estate's patterns really awesome. Also some of the roads clearly saw since to the top. Whole area covered by green nature. Absolutely stunning.
Omg....now we were top of the Brandigala. That's our destination. We celebrated our achievement with sing a song and did dance. There was big winds. But we care more about each others.
I went another side. Then I looked there was cloudy forest. I believed in this cloudy forest lives endemic animals and grow endemic plants.
Do you see rainbow? I saw it on the slippery stone. With water flow colors created automatically. Here we found thorny bushes and they had to be careful. It was important to minimize the carrying of polythene plates and to ensure that the carry was brought back. Thanks for visiting.
