Good Morning Travelers,
How are you all? I hope you're doing well under quarantine period. Today I little bit late for posting travel content with my busy schedule today. However this quarantine period perfect for search our past memories. So I went my desktop folder and found tremendous memory in my past time. Me and only one friend went Balangoda area located sabaragamuwa province for meet our mutual friend. He invited to us for came his home. We saw beautiful waterfall there and I prefer to share it with this community. Let's go guys...
We went through above road to reach our friend home. The whole background covered by the tree shades. It was pretty cool environment. My warm feelings went and new cool feelings welcomed. Starting from Balangoda town a short distance, you will come across beautiful scenery and beautiful mountain ranges and even chena trees that enrich the lives of the people.
Then we came to this upstairs later. That wasn't difficult walk because very easily climbed up via upstairs. If you are going to visit the waterfall, the easiest way is the Balangoda - Kaltota road. About 28 km along this road you will find the Bellangala forest. With the jungle down, we have exactly 3 kilometers from the junction with the falls. If you go by car, you can get near the falls. You have to walk a short distance.
We have to go among the little forest. I looked big house ranges of the snakes. But we couldn't see any species of the snakes. So much soil used for built it by some species of the insect. They're the engineers of the wildlife.
Then after we had to walk down. Now you can clearly see surrounding forest area. Various species plants and trees there. They are faster growing with wet zone.
Kaltota Dust Falls is one of the most popular waterfalls in Sri Lanka. Dust streams are also the main source of dust. That is because there are several dusty falls in Sri Lanka. I've written about it before.
When we see this falls from outside, it looks like one. On reaching there you can see another small stream of dust falling from the same spot.
The upper part of the small waterfall is only a small fraction of what the visitor can see from afar. Because a rock in front of the small falls is covered by a stone dome and the water flows into the main falls.
The water pool at the bottom of the falls is very deep. It is said that this waterfall is named as Dust falls because the water falling from above falls as the dust settles down.
Our friend said that the height of the dusty falls is about 40 meters. The Walawe River creates this beautiful waterfall. Dusty Falls is a beautiful waterfall that visitors can enjoy any time of the year, even during the dry season. I think you'll enjoy to read my travel post. Thanks for reading. See you again.
