surfing makes you hungry!
Once you were outside for a few hours, on the fresh sea air and paddled so muuuuuuch like we did, you get hungry soooooon.
A small tip is therefore the "be happy Café" in Caparicas streets, near of the surf spot!
We were quite early out for the surf, arou 11 o'clock we arrived at the beach and stayed there the most time of the day. Around 5 pm the stomachs startet to tell us we need some food and so it was decided to break up at 6 pm and chop something edible between the gills.
Planless and hungry was the first debate whether you bring away the boards first or not.
But in the end, the laziness won and you changed only very quickly and went off with board and wetsuit.
Faster than expected, we found the sweet, small café and could thus quench our appetite quickly.
The total feast is in this café the acai Bowl. Even if the price of about 6 € deters at first, it's worth it. The bowl is big and filled to the brim with fresh fruits!
Even the mega sandwich is a tasty thing, since every lover of sandwiches will enjoy it.
Again fit and lively, we let the evening end at sunset on the beach and left our mark in the sand ...

War man erstmal ein paar Stunden draußen, an der frischen Meeresluft und hat ewig gepaddelt bekommt man auch ordentlich Hunger.
Ein kleiner Tipp meinerseits ist daher das „be happy Café“ in Caparicas Straßen, nahegelegenen am Surf Spot!
Wir sind recht früh raus für den Surf, so gegen 11 Uhr waren wir am Strand angekommen und blieben dort den Tag. Doch gegen 17 Uhr meldeten sich die Mägen und somit war es beschlossene Sache gegen 18 Uhr aufzubrechen und sich etwas essbares zwischen die Kiemen zu hauen.
Planlos und hungrig stand erstmal zur Debatte ob man die boards erstmal wegbringt oder nicht.
Doch am Ende siegte die Faulheit und man zog sich nur recht schnell um und ging mit Board und wetsuit los.
Schneller als gedacht fanden wir dann das süße, kleine Café und konnten unseren Appetit somit zügig stillen.
Der totale Schmaus ist in diesem Café der acai Bowl. Auch wenn der Preis von ca. 6€ abschreckt im ersten Moment, es lohnt sich. Die Schüssel ist groß und bis obenhin gefüllt mit frischen Früchten!
Auch das Mega Sandwich ist eine leckere Sache, da wird jeder Sandwich Liebhaber seine Freude dran haben.
Wieder fit und munter ließen wir dann den Abend beim Sonnenuntergang am Strand ausklingen und hinterließen unsere Spuren noch im Sand...
