Hello, dear steemians!

I took this photo during a photographic travel with my friends from Club Photo World, Bulgaria.
Here you see a facade of a very old building with, what it seems, a very interesting and kinda shoking, at least for me, history.
The building is in a district in downtown Sofia, Bulgaria, called G14, very close to the beautiful Lions Bridge.
What is strange about this property, or I should probably use the word weird instead, is that its parts had been built in Vienna, Austria, in the XVIII century.
After that those constructive parts had been sent by railway transport to Sofia and the building has been assembled shortly after that. So, in other terms, what you see in the picture is a very old, stone based Lego! :)
Unfortunately the local municipality does not support this marvel and it is left abandoned. Look at the code of arms just below the roof, how beautiful it is... I guess it could tell the full story.
As some Bulgarian architects suspect, this area is secretly planned for total demolition and probably a sky-scrapper will appear in few years. Which would be a total shame, because this quarter is full with architectural gems.

So, if you are into architecture, old buildings, ornaments, etc., now is the time to visit this special disrict in the Bulgarian capital.

I want to take a moment to thank to everyone from "Club Photo World", Bulgaria. It's always great to go on journeys with people who share the same passion with you, right? :)
www.hadjiyvanov.com for more beautiful places and people :)

If you like my works, please share (resteem) them. An upvote would be a nice touch to the time you've spent reading and enjoying, hopefully, my visuals ;)
