In this race, the rider usually balances on a slab of wood behind the racing pair of bulls, attached with a rope. He commandeers them with a rope and a sharp stick. The rider screams to excite the bulls and to make them speed like hell. The starting point of bull race is very dangerous if any thing goes wrong then these bulls are not able to reach the finish line. If rider gets a control of the beasts since from the beginning then he can easily win the race with in best finish time. Only few pair of bulls reach at finish line.

As these bulls are very strong and to control them is a much difficult task. At starting point, besides rider some trained people are also present to control this beast. They try to run with bulls for some time so that the bulls can get right direction and rider can get some good starting of race. But still some bulls get out of control and it becomes impossible to get them on right track.

These bull riders are very experienced and have been doing this for years. The expert riders of these bulls are few in number. So Bull owner and landlords hire the best rider for their bulls. These riders are highly paid and also get big prizes from owners and from organizers of that event. But most of the time, these riders are not able to complete the race and bulls escape from them.
