Villa La Angostura, Neuquén Province, Argentina
The good thing about traveling in a private vehicle is that it gives you the possibility of easily accessing other places. All you have to do is decide which one and a couple of kilometers later you are there, ready to enjoy other landscapes. I think that for most travelers who are enjoying this area of Neuquén it is almost mandatory to make a stop at Villa La Angostura, the aptly named 'garden of Patagonia' ❤️.
Lo bueno de ir viajando en un vehículo particular es que te da la posibilidad de acceder fácilmente hacia otros lugares. Solo basta con decidir cuál y un par de kilómetros luego ya estas ahí, listo para disfrutar de otros paisajes. Creo que para la mayoría de los viajeros que se encuentran disfrutando de esta zona de Neuquén es casi-obligatorio hacer una parada por Villa La Angostura, el bien denominado 'jardín de la Patagonia' ❤️.
Starting from San Martín de los Andes, it took us almost two hours to get to Villa La Angostura in the van. The weather was ideal for walking, like most of the days we had been having. So we took advantage, got in the car very early and went back there. I say we returned because in previous days we had already reached the beautiful Mansa Bay, but we had no time to go further and we knew that this place was worth returning to ❣️.
Partiendo desde San Martín de los Andes, nos tomó casi dos horas llegar hasta Villa La Angostura en la camioneta. El clima estaba ideal para pasear, como la mayoría de los días que veníamos teniendo. Entonces aprovechamos, nos subimos al auto bien temprano y volvimos a ir para allá. Digo volvimos porque en días previos ya habíamos llegado hasta la hermosa Bahía Mansa, pero no nos había quedado tiempo para ir más allá y sabíamos que a este lugar valía la pena volver ❣️.
On the recommendation of other travelers, we decided to go to Puerto Manzano. This whole part is quite below street level, so we could only drive up to one point and then had to walk a bit. When we arrived, we found a landscape quite similar to that of the bay, but this one was a little more prepared for tourists. It has a hotel with a spa overlooking the lake and in the port you can take various walks on Lake Nahuel Huapi. The only thing to keep in mind is that these tours must be booked in advance as there is a lot of demand and it is likely that they will not be available at any moment. Completely understandable, because who wouldn't want to sail in such a place? ❤️
Por recomendación de otros viajeros, decidimos ir hasta el Puerto Manzano. Toda esta parte queda bastante abajo del nivel de la calle, por lo que solo pudimos llegar con el vehículo hasta un punto y luego tuvimos que caminar un poco. Cuando llegamos, nos encontramos con un paisaje bastante parecido al de la bahía, pero este estaba un poco más preparado para los turistas. Cuenta con un hotel con spa con vista al lago y en el puerto se pueden realizar diversos paseos sobre el Lago Nahuel Huapi. Lo único que hay que tener en cuenta es que estos paseos deben ser reservados con anticipación ya que hay bastante demanda y es probable no conseguirlos de un momento a otro. Completamente entendible, porque ¿quién no querría navegar en un lugar así? ❤️
If you want a closer view, you can access the dock, but be very careful because, in my opinion, it is somewhat deteriorated. My aunt had a bit of vertigo because some of the boards were quite far apart and you could see the water, but this seemed great to me because you could appreciate the color better ❣️.
Si quieres una vista más de cerca se puede acceder al muelle, pero teniendo bastante cuidado porque, en mi opinión, está algo deteriorado. Mi tía tenía un poco de vértigo por el hecho de que algunas tablas estaban bastante separadas y se veía el agua, pero a mí esto me parecía genial porque se podía apreciar mejor el color ❣️.
What was incredible to me about this entire tour is that we saw Lake Nahuel Huapi from different viewpoints or beaches and everywhere it seemed to be different, despite being the same mirror of water. The sun and the depths manage to create a beautiful effect that gives a special touch to each of these places ❣️.
Lo que me resultó increíble de todo este paseo es que vimos al lago Nahuel Huapi desde diferentes miradores o playas y en todos lados parecía ser diferente, a pesar de ser el mismo espejo de agua. El sol y las profundidades logran crear un efecto hermoso que le da un toque especial a cada uno de estos lugares ❣️.

The manzano port seems like a quiet place to spend the afternoon and rest. I think this particular place is not for bathing and swimming as there are several boats going around all the time, but the Villa is quite big so there are other options to do this. Once again I was very happy to have discovered a beautiful new place, perhaps something unthinkable for me a while ago. For this and for all the good things that have been happening to me, thank you very much ❤️.
El puerto manzano parece un lugar tranquilo como para pasar la tarde y descansar. Creo que este lugar en particular no es para bañarse y nadar, ya que hay varias embarcaciones dando vueltas todo el tiempo, pero la Villa es bastante grande así que hay otras opciones para hacer esto. Una vez más estuve muy feliz por haber descubierto un hermoso lugar nuevo, quizás algo impensado para mí un tiempo atrás. Por esto y por todo lo bueno que me viene pasando, muchas gracias ❤️.
