Gualeguaychu, Entre Ríos Province, Argentina
When I started this new year I set myself a goal that is equal to or better than the previous one in terms of travel. I am completely influenced by that phrase of "if not now, when?", So I try not to say no to any plan that they propose to me, be it to go near or far, many days or few. And this is what happened when we started this trip with friends to a well-known campsite in the province of Entre Ríos: Solar del Este ❤️.
Cuando inicié este nuevo año me propuse como meta que sea igual o mejor que el anterior en cuanto a viajes. Estoy completamente influenciada por esa frase de "¿si no es ahora, cuándo?", por lo que intento no decir que no a cualquier plan que me proponen, sea ir cerca o lejos, muchos días o pocos. Y esto fue lo que pasó cuando emprendimos este viaje con amigos a un camping muy conocido en la provincia de Entre Ríos: Solar del Este ❤️.
This camping is precisely in the city of Gualeguaychú, home of the carnivals and the comparsas. Throughout the summer these parades take place in the "corsódromo" that is very close to there, so this campsite is a good option for cheap accommodation if you like to enjoy this type of shows.
Este camping queda precisamente en la ciudad de Gualeguaychú, hogar de los carnavales y las comparsas. Durante todo el verano ocurren estos desfiles en el "corsódromo" que queda muy cerca de allí, por lo que este camping es una buena opción de alojamiento económico si te gusta disfrutar de este tipo de shows.
The main date of the carnivals is in February, so there was not so much movement of people around here yet. This was something positive for me, since we were able to better enjoy the facilities since the first days we were practically alone 😅. This allowed us to find a good spot under the trees, near the utility poles and the toilets.
La fecha principal de los carnavales es en Febrero, por lo que aún no había tanto movimiento de gente por aquí. Esto me resultó algo positivo, ya que pudimos disfrutar mejor de las instalaciones ya que los primeros días estuvimos practicamente solos 😅. Esto nos permitió buscar un buen lugar bajo los árboles, cerca de los postes de luz y de los baños.
As the signs at the entrance say, this campsite has a beach and a bar. I have been to several campsites and I have never seen a place that combines green space and beach in this way, it seemed like a super interesting concept. This place is located on the banks of the Gualeguaychu River and is an artificially created beach.
Como dicen los carteles de la entrada, este camping cuenta con una playa y un bar. He estado en varios camping y nunca había visto un lugar que combine espacio verde y playa de esta manera, me pareció un concepto super interesante. Este lugar se encuentra a orillas del río Gualeguaychu y es una playa creada artificialmente.
This entire complex is geared towards young people: there is music all day, they sell drinks on the beach and during the afternoon parties are organized in a space specially prepared for that. However, there is also the possibility of spending the day on the beach paying a cheaper entry than the accommodation at the campsite. Anyway, in all the days we were there we didn't see many children or families, all groups of friends our age 😅.
Todo este complejo está orientado para gente joven: hay música todo el día, venden tragos en la playa y durante la tarde se organizan fiestas en un espacio preparado especialmente para eso. Sin embargo, también está la posibilidad de pasar el día en la playa abonando una entrada más económica que la de alojamiento en el camping. De todos modos, en todos los días que estuvimos no vimos muchos niños ni familias, todos grupos de amigos de nuestra edad 😅.
We arrived on Wednesday and left on Sunday. For the first few days it was pretty quiet in terms of number of people, but on Friday and Saturday an incredible crowd arrived. In those days it was the main party where we were partying from 4 PM to 8 PM. I had never been partying during the day, so I had a really good time, exchanging dancing and a dip in the river ❤️.
Nosotros llegamos el miércoles y nos fuimos el domingo. Durante los primeros días estuvo bastante tranquilo en cuanto a cantidad de gente, pero el viernes y el sábado arribó una multitud increíble. En esos días fue la fiesta principal donde estuvimos de fiesta desde las 4 PM hasta las 8 PM. Nunca había estado de fiesta de día, así que la pasé verdaderamente bien, intercambiando baile y un chapuzón en el río ❤️.
I don't know what impression they will have of me after all this time (😂) but I am quite a sociable person: I really like parties and talking with people, of course this was no exception and we made quite a few new friends with whom we laughed and we had a nice time. Since everyone was in the same vacation and rest situation, it was easy to interact with anyone 😅❤️.
No sé que impresión tendrán de mí después de todo este tiempo (😂) pero yo soy una persona bastante sociable: me gustan mucho las fiestas y hablar con gente, por supuesto esta no fue la excepción y nos hicimos bastantes amigos nuevos con los que reímos y pasamos un momento agradable. Como todos estaban en la misma situación de descanso y vacaciones, era fácil interactuar con cualquiera 😅❤️.

Another thing I liked is that I was able to take advantage of my arsenal of glitters to get ready for the party. I had also brought my super flower crown from my house to be dressed up for the occasion (ok, I'm quite a clown in that sense, I was not going to miss the opportunity of all this although I want to tell you that later it cost me a lot that all those glitters were will take me off) 😂.
Otra cosa que me gustó es que pude aprovechar mi arsenal de brillos para prepararme para la fiesta. También había llevado de mi casa mi super corona de flores para estar disfrazada para la ocasión (ok, soy bastante payasa en ese sentido, no iba a perder la oportunidad de todo esto aunque quiero contarles que después me costó un montón que todos esos brillos se me despegaran) 😂.
Finally, a few days ago @creacioneslelys became interested in the gastronomy of the places I am going to walk. Well my dear, for this first trip of the year I don't have much to show you, only that we spent the whole week eating what we could prepare with this little stove: basically rice, sausages, noodles and some tomato. The day we had the most luxuries, we bought hamburgers and I ate like three. Anyway, it was fun cooking like that. Hope next time I can show you something more elegant 😅.
Por último, hace unos días @creacioneslelys se interesó en la gastronomía de los sitios a los que voy a pasear. Bueno querida, para este primer viaje del año no tengo mucho para mostrarte, solo que pasamos toda la semana comiendo lo que podíamos preparar con esta pequeña anafe: básicamente arroz, salchichas, fideos y algo de tomate. El dia que más lujos tuvimos compramos hamburguesas y yo me comí como tres. De todos modos, fue divertido cocinar así. Espero que la próxima pueda mostrarte algo más elegante 😂.
The truth is that I really liked this place. From my house it only took us 3 hours to get there, about 2 hours less than what it takes to get to the real beach and with a fairly similar result. I would go again at some other time, maybe at least 2 days to have a party and a rest: balance is always the key. And friends, this was the first ride of the year. I hope the second is not that long, I will cross my fingers 😅.
La verdad es que este lugar me gustó mucho. Desde mi casa solo tardamos 3 horas en llegar hasta allí, como 2 horas menos que lo que se tarda en llegar a la verdadera playa y con un resultado bastante parecido. Volvería a ir en algún otro momento, quizás al menos 2 días para tener uno de fiesta y uno de descanso: el equilibrio siempre es la clave. Y bueno amigos, así fue el primer paseo del año. Espero que no falte tanto para el segundo , cruzaré los dedos 😅.
