Island Garden City of Samal or commonly known as Samal Island surely has something to offer to you when it comes to extreme beach getaways. Samal does not only boasts unspoiled beaches with white powdery sand and crystal clear sea, it also has extreme activities to offer. To help you out on your next ultimate adventure in Samal, I will list down below in random order my top 3 thrilling/exciting spots in Samal that will surely be a haven for the thrill seekers like you.

I think this is the best time to promote one of my Mindanao's gems while Boracay Island was still on a rehabilitation process.

CANIBAD BEACH SANCTUARY

A once hidden paradise in Samal island back in the late 2000s. Canibad has a long stretch of pebbled shore with the contrasting colors of the azure sky, turquoise blue sea, and lush greenery which is a very mesmerizing site to behold. What thrill awaits you at the farthest side of the cove is the rock formation which creates a cliff of at least 20 feet high above the sea. The trail leading to the tip of the cliff is quite challenging adding thrill to the whole experience.

SABANG CLIFF JUMPING

If you are not satisfied by the height of Canibad's cliff jump then you might wanna try Sabang's 3 tier cliff jump. Sabang is located a few kilometers off the center of Brgy. Kaputian. It is still not known to many when we first visited this unusual spot in Kaputian. In fact I made a video that went viral 4 years ago which helped in promoting this spot. Now, Sabang is the ultimate place for people who loves extreme adventure. Sabang has 3 jumping spots. The favorite jumping spot was at 14 feet above sea level. 2nd spot is about 20 feet and 3rd is about 40 feet above sea level. The 3rd tier is enough to give you willies while standing at the jumping point.

MAXIMA AQUA FUN RESORT

Maxima Aqua Fun is a resort nestling in a boulder setting that offers the best water sports activities in the region that adrenaline junkies would surely love.
