Hello. This is Cockatoo (@kitalee).

From this post, I decided to use my nickname "Cockatoo". Cockatoo is one of the most representative animals in Australia besides kangaroos and koalas. This bird is a very loud but lovely large parrot with white feathers and yellow hair. I've decided to become a Steemian who is loved even though being clumsy like this bird. :)

I'd like to introduce Boronia Park, where I come with my children often.

It's close to home and there's a large supermarket Coles next to it, so it's also a place where I often visit with my children while shopping. The park has a wide range of facilities, including playgrounds, barbecue facilities, walking paths, sports equipment, and a large playground, which is one of the favorite attractions of the neighborhood.

This is the entrance to the park. As you walk along the road, you will come to a fork of a road. If you follow the left fork, you can easily find various facilities such as playgrounds and barbecue facilities.

Today, we tried to cook barbecue. As ingredients to be baked, I simply brought the neck part of pork and the shrimp my wife loves more than me. My wife loves seafood very much. And I prepared fruits and other snacks for the children. With this simple and no pressure preparation, parents can be full all day and children can run happily. Good Idea~!!

There's really nothing to prepare for. Usually, I bring meat, fruit, and drinks in a small icebox as a preparation. And wipes and foil for cleanliness and hygiene are essential!

Wipe out the barbeque iron plate first, and lay foil on top of it, and lay meat and sausages on top of it. On this day, I put up bottles of yogurt that was frozen like that so that it wouldn't fly because of the strong wind. Well done~!

Finally, if you press the barbeque stove button on the right for about 5 seconds, that red light comes on and the heat starts to rise.

Wow! It looks like it's cooked very well!

Now that I've filled my hunger, I'll take a look around the park.

There's a sign next to the barbecue and a map underneath it.

The park is large enough for residents to take a walk. There is a circular walkway with playgrounds and playgrounds in the center. And there's a playground and a barbecue center in the middle of the park.

Now! This is a place where children can play.

I can't see it well because there's a shade. I'll go inside.

I call these net rides just as "spider strings." And next to the web, there's a big lawn, where Cockatoos were playing.

And there's a staircase above the web, and if you follow it...

IMG_3233.JPG

Oh!! There's this big grass field. I have often seen people playing soccer games or cricket here.

Wow~ Isn't the sky really clear? The clear sky above the playground is so nice to see!

Finally... other amenities.

Tables, benches, and drinking water tables. You can relax and drink!

All restrooms are unisex public toilet.

Finally, if you walk out the entrance, there's a parking lot and a Coles. It's a parking lot for parks and stores. (Mon-Sat : 2 hours parking available / no restrictions on Sundays)

Whew~ So far, I've introduced Boronia Park. It's not far from Epping Station in northwestern Sydney, so it's easy to find it, and it's a good place for birthday parties and barbecue parties. If you have a chance, I recommend Boronia Park, which is perfect for you to do without any pressure!
