Living in a busy city, full of buildings, all kinds of vehicles crowded on the road and non-stop noise will certainly make you tired, hot or a little frustrated. There is a longing for the beauty of the village and nature, want to calmly spend time in the shade of trees and your eyes always cool to see the green leaves. Bogor Botanical Garden
Yes, that's what I experienced after my head was filled with training materials in The Center for Pancasila and Constitution Education and Training, I started boring, I wanted to find inspiration and refresh my spirit, finally, I decided to go to a place as I narrated above. My goal this time is Bogor Botanical Garden. Bogor Botanical Gardens is a large botanical garden (vegetation) located in Bogor City, West Java. It covers 87 hectares and has around 15,000 types of tree and plant collections.
Bogor Botanical Garden is a large project inherited from the Dutch colonizers which were originally intended for research on herbal medicines, but then on April 18, 1817, officially became the Botanical Garden by the Governor General G.A.G.P. Baron van der Capellen. Here there are actually places that deserve attention including the Pond Scissors, Dutch cemetery, Araceae Garden, Teijsmann Garden, Water Garden, Medicine Garden, Mexican Garden, Soedjana Kassan Garden, The Orchid House.
There are only a few places that I can explore because the area reaches 87 hectares (210 acres; 0.87 km2) while my time not too much, as well as other visitors, the large area makes visitors feel tired. If you are tired, you can rest in a chair that has been provided by the manager while enjoying the provision of drinks or food that you bring from home and enjoy the beautiful pool decorated with lotus flowers or beautiful fountains. You can see how the big trees here grow more and more with many species.
This is a good place and highly recommend to visit. It's hard to find a place with cool area, clean air and a green atmosphere now although you always missed when you are in the city, so this Bogor Botanical Garden can be a great place for you to spend your weekend.
For additional information, when visiting here there are many students and plant researchers who come here. This is reasonable because now the Bogor Botanical Garden is indeed a City Forest and is a means of research for the Indonesian Institute of Sciences.

Bogor Botanical Gardens are on Ir. Juanda number 13, Bogor city, West Java. The route to this place is quite easy because the road access is good and not far from the city centre. Bogor Botanical Gardens are easily accessible both with private vehicles and public vehicles. This garden is opened every day and the ticket price is only IDR. 15,000 rupiah.
The facilities here are also very complete, there's no need to hesitate because this place offers coolness, beauty and comfort. Some facilities such as lodging, food stalls, prayer rooms and clean toilets are here.
