[PW#4] Trying New Road, Seeing The Hills, Montain and Cloud.

Roads that are jammed, gear exchanges that are too frequent, wasteful oil and road safety are some things that make motorists look for new routes to travel. That also made me and my family decide to take a new route.

We have heard this route for a long time but this time is the right time to try it. Information about the beautiful scenery makes me even more interested to try it, not to mention a number of photos sent by friends make me even more curious to try it immediately.

From Sigli City to Banda Aceh takes less than 3 hours, this is if you take the national road, but the risk I described above is certainly a matter of consideration, especially now that I am with a family who wants to see something new so the distance and time are not an obstacle. Alright, just a moment I want to illustrate the comparison between the old route and the new route below.

Old Route: If you depart from Sigli City to Banda Aceh, you will pass several places, namely Grong-Grong, Padang Tiji, Laweung, Saree, Seulimum, Indrapuri, Samahani, Sibreh and finally arrive in Banda Aceh. Distance travelled less than 3 hours with normal speed between 80-100 Km/hour.

New Route: If you depart from Sigli City towards Banda Aceh you will pass several places, namely Grong-Grong, Padang Tiji, Laweung, Simpang 4 Laweung, Krueng Raya, Ujung Batee, Kajhu, Krung Cut and Banda Aceh.

In my analysis, between the first and second routes, in Google Maps, the difference is only less than 20 minutes, meaning that the distance we travelled does not differ much.

Well, here we are talking about the advantages and disadvantages.

The first route:
Advantages: The road is large and facilities on the road are very easy, safe, many refuelling points.
Disadvantages: Dense roads, frequent accidents, wasteful oil, uncomfortable for manual vehicles, ordinary scenery.

Second Route:
Advantages: Beautiful scenery such as hills, beaches and fisherman life, not jammed.
Weaknesses: Roads are quiet, places to refuel are limited.

My recommendation for taking this new route is:
The condition of the driver and vehicle must be ready and healthy, fully fill your fuel, bring your camera.
