In the bustling and vibrant city of Guangzhou, there is a small Greek restaurant that resembles a fragment of the Aegean Sea, emanating a joyful atmosphere and enticing aroma.
This hidden gem offers authentic Greek cuisine that is more akin to home cooking than the fare typically found in other restaurants. As a result, it has become the go-to spot for many foreigners living in Guangzhou who yearn for a taste of home.
The owner, a young Greek man named Demetris Krgvnns, personally oversees every dish, from coffee to salad, from flatbread to seafood rice, each infused with the rich yet refreshing flavors of the Mediterranean. Recently, he introduced a new item to the menu: grilled meat. A large skewer of pork slowly rotates on the spit, exuding a tantalizing aroma and juicy tenderness that looks so delicious and attractive.
As I become a regular at this restaurant and grow more familiar with the bustling yet relaxed atmosphere, I can't help but be reminded of that mysterious and legendary land far away, with its ancient and splendid civilization, its magnificent and romantic landscapes, and its most beautiful and romantic shade of blue, almost as if it were right before my eyes.
