Lachinch is a small town located on the west coast of Ireland and the beach there is one of my favorites. How it will look a lot depends on whether there is high or low tide. Of course, I love those moments when there is low tide, the ocean goes back and the beach becomes long, you can find various natural treasures on it.
This time I came to Lahinch when the tide was low and the beach seemed huge. A large part of the sand was wet and it had interesting, wavy shapes.
I was wearing wellington boots so I could walk freely on the beach, without worrying about my shoes getting wet, and even going into the ocean at times. It was fun playing with the incoming waves, in which the son of friends also got involved.
The wet sand reflecting the sun's rays looked very picturesque, like a surface of a lake.
On the beach in Lahinch you can often see surfers. Large waves are formed here, which makes the ocean great for surfing. It was fun watching the surfers. I have never surfed, but after watching them for some time I felt that I would like to try one day.
There was a lot of seaweed on the beach, I collected some as a souvenir.
I also noticed black limpets. Apparently you can eat them. I have never tried it, but maybe some of you have such experience?
The sunset made an amazing impression on me that day. Watching the sunset over the Atlantic Ocean. A unique experience.
