Some desserts are so unusual that we eat them once and we feel that they charmed us ... with their taste, smell, and sometimes even what they look like and ... name. Could there be a more intriguing name from Jasminum Grandimango? ;) Certainly yes, but I really liked this one and made me want to check what is hidden under it.

The creators of this dessert describe it in the following way:

"In search of taste, we went on a long journey east, to South Asia, where the smells knock us down with intensity. Finally, somewhere on the border between India and Pakistan, after a long meditation, we found Jasminum grandimango - a species previously unknown to botany: a combination of the intoxicating scent of jasmine and the sweetness of mango. On the matcha sponge cake, we placed a ball of light ganache soaked in jasmine, inside we hid mango roasted in butter, seasoned with lime and Bourbon vanilla from Madagascar. "

You can buy it in Warsaw, Poland, in the Lukullus confectionery shop.

The dessert is sold in beautiful boxes, decorated with wonderful botanical graphics with plants and butterflies. I like nature very much, so such a box immediately won my appreciation.

Before I ate Jasminum Grandimango for the first time, I didn't know if I would like it. I hear it has good opinions, but you know what someone else tastes good for you may not. Fortunately, I like this dessert very much. It has a wonderful smell. When you are in Warsaw, I encourage you to try this delicious dessert.

Jasminum grandimango, reaching inside with a spoon, looks a bit funny - like a half-boiled egg, as if the yolk was pouring out of it;) But it tastes very sweet. I think this is an amazing delicacy for people who, like me, love mangoes.
