There are nice white piers at the Polish seaside. The most famous and impressive is the pier in Sopot. In my photos you can see a slightly smaller but also beautiful pier in Gdynia.
There is a funny story connected with the pier in Sopot. My parents once went on a trip to the seaside, drove several hundred kilometers, walked on the pier ...they look, and thus their closest neighbors walk on the pier. How small this world can be. People who see each other almost every day also accidentally met on vacation in the same place, even though they had not talked about their travel plans before.
While walking along the pier, you can observe the sea from many sides, including at the end of the pier - in its deeper part. At the end there is also a telescope, thanks to which he sometimes observes birds or ships sailing on the sea. This time I spotted a pirate ship.
It is a cruise ship for tourists that leaves Sopot on 40-minute cruises.
In Sopot, the exclusive Sofitel Grand Sopot is very famous and beautiful. The rooms have a sea view. The famous pier in Sopot and a wonderful beach are nearby.
I really like the fine, light yellow sand on the beach by the Baltic Sea. And the smell of the sea that cannot be found anywhere else.
I often walk barefoot on the beach, looking for shells and amber.
