As you know I live in a village.
But when I need to do some extra things, I need to go to the big city. The city I was born.
Heraklion in Crete Greece
A city with personality. A city that has a lot to offer, and sometimes the travelers recognize this more than the citizens.
Even so, I am confident that things will be better soon, very soon.
Today I walked on the city walls. As we read from Wikipedia The fortifications of Heraklion are a series of defensive walls and other fortifications which surround the city of Heraklion in Crete, Greece. The first city walls were built in the Middle Ages, but they were completely rebuilt by the Republic of Venice
And Heraklion has gone through a lot through the centuries and there are many marks left all around.
