What is it with beers even that make having one so rewarding? For me often it isn't even about the beer itself. It is about the vibe around it, or the feeling that you have totally deserved one for a week of hard work. Or just you want to enjoy the moment. I think I am game for all of these options. Travel is an awesome way to try some local lager from around the world. So you might as well enjoy the scenery with some liquid gold in your hand right?
So today I give you the beers with a view series from Vietnam!
Taken in the North Eastern area of Mai Chao I was peer pressured in by @riverflows to try the Hanoi beer, so what good of a friend would I be for not trying!
A double IPA called Imperium which is a local IPA from Danang facing the South side of the city overlooking the Marble Mountains all the way back to Hoi An. I wouldn't call this a bad situation ;)
Now this is where it starts to get a little bit crossover. A beer with a view overlooking the Vann Pass to the North of Danang but what is all the crap beside it? It was sort of a cocktail set on fire with vodka, grenadine, Blue Curacao and beer in there. Nice taste? Mehhhhh medium, but the experience A+!
Working out a plan in a Hammock in the region of Ninh Bingh on how seeing the most of the region while having a Turtle lake IPA which was actually an extremely good beer. I can tell you the plan worked out just fine!
