ICELAND FROM ABOVE - Part II
Hallo liebe Steemians,
so Teil II der kleinen Serie "Iceland from above" soll nicht lange auf sich warten lassen. Wie im letzten Teil schon erwähnt, ist ein rücksichtsvoller Umgang mit den kleinen oder großen Drohnen das A und O. In Kaldá durften wir in dieser schönen Hütte übernachten.
Auto abgestellt, Kofferraum geöffnet, das erste Summen macht sich breit. Mein erster Gedanke: "Cool, hier fliegt wohl noch jemand eine Drohne. Dann gehe ich gleich mal fragen, welches Modell und welche Erfahrungen die Person bisher in Island gemacht hat." Nachdem dann die dritte Drohne innerhalb von einer Minute am Himmel war, wurde ich etwas stutzig. Nun ja nach ca. 40 Minuten habe ich mich auf den Weg gemacht, um zu fragen, ob denn die Option bestehen würde, ob meine Drohne auch den Weg in den Himmel finden könne. Einen Crash wollte ich selbstverständlich vermeiden und hatte mich daher bis jetzt zurück gehalten. Kein Problem! Nach 5 Minuten hatte ich quasi die "Starterlaubnis" und die Propeller drehten sich eifrig.
Zeitsprung: 6 Uhr morgens. Nächsten Morgen weckte uns nicht der Hahn, der Wecker oder das Sonnenlicht, sondern kreisende Drohnen... Bis zum nächsten Blog "Iceland from above".

so here is already part II of the short series "Iceland from above". I don't want to let you guys wait any longer. As mentioned in the last post, a respectful handling of drones is essential. In Kaldá we stayed in this beautiful cottage for one night.
Car parked, trunk opened, the first buzzes spread. My first thought: "Cool, someone else must be flying a drone here. Then I'll go and ask what model and brand and what experiences he or she has had in Iceland so far." After the third drone was in the sky within a minute, I became a bit suspicious. Well, after about 40 minutes I set off to ask, if there would be an option for my drone to lift off. Of course I wanted to avoid a crash and had therefore held back until now. No problem! After 5 minutes I had the "start permission" and the propellers were spinning eagerly.
Fast forward: 6:00 am next morning. It wasn't the rooster, the alarm clock or the sunlight that woke us up, but circling drones above our cottage ... We'll see each other in the next part of "Iceland from above".
